My wife and I went to the KC Ren Fest. Had an absolute blast. Of course, the best time we had was seeing the Jolly Rogers perform. We got two of their CDs. I laugh every time

My boyfriend flew into town from Ireland and was here for two weeks (or I would have responded earlier) but we went twice while he was here and saw several of their shows. At one point we ran into Bloodbeard at the Astral Sea stand and my friend ran over and told him that C (the BF) had flown in just to see him. Bloodbeard was all, "Me? Really? Thanks for the pressure!!!"
C had a blast at all the shows, loved the ren fest and I'm glad. I go year after year. In a way, the Jolly Rogers are how he and I met. Sorta indirectly, but I started a pirate themed radio station because of them (it ran for almost 3 years, broadcasted to a pirate MMO playerbase) and he worked for that station."Oh, the strawberries don't taste as they used to and the thighs of women have lost their clutch!"
