When I went to college I left my job at the local grocery store. Despite a fair amount of effort I was unemployed for the last 2 years because of the fact no one wanted a summer worker in this economy.
Then 2 weeks ago, my roommate who works at the 24 hour desk at the dorms asking if I wanted to take a morning shift they couldn't get covered, I had this time free and was all but hired on the spot. In short the job is to sit around handing people temp keys if they lock themselves out, as well as packages from UPS, etc, and best of all it pays 8 dollars an hour, much better than 6.75 to bust my ass at the grocery store.
