  • Need help from fabric people

For a big project, I'm collecting and cutting up jeans.

My hand is sore from yesterday's jeans experience, and it was only two pairs. I need a better way of cutting through all that damned denim. I looked up rotary fabric cutters online, and they seem ideal.

Any advice? Should I go for the rotary cutter, or try something else?

rotary cutters are awesome, just remember to get the proper cutting surface.
My sanity has been dripping out of me my whole life, today they turned on the faucet.....

You could use a carpet knife. I've used those on jeans.

My mom used to have a pair of electric scissors, they looked pretty handy but I have no experience using them.

You can purchase a cutting mat to use with the rotary cutter. The rotary cutter is basically a round razor blade, if you use it on, your dining room table, for example, you will slice the top of the table.

I LOVE my rotary cutter, but for the jeans, electric scissors would actually be better.
          Don't wanna; not gonna.
