    Evidently jammed elbows bruise??

I decided that it'd be easier to do the whole bathroom mirror shot thing because I'm not talented enough to take a picture without looking at the camera screen.

Has anyone ever had experience with a jammed joint (elbow or otherwise)? I've jammed my finger before, but I don't know if this is different or not.

Showers suck too. Ever try to wash your hair without your palms touching your head? Yeah, THAT'S freaking tough. My hair goes down to my shoulders and I have a lot of it, so it's annoying to contend with. That, and hot water hurts, so I've been taking cool showers. It's still quite warm here, so that's not horrible, but I like my hot showers!
Not to mention it's hard to wipe your butt if you don't have your full range of motion in your dominant arm.

I'm sure the entire CS world is thanking you for that imagery, IPF.

My range of motion is OK...my EFFECTIVE range of motion is quite diminished though. I don't have any problems in THAT area though lol.

I've decided that I'm going to run by (and by run I mean drive) and say hi to my old JROTC instructors...the Colonel was a combat medic in Korea, so he'll likely have an idea of how serious it is.

Lol Ditch...it's the camera angle. I'm stronger than I look, but I'm not THAT built (I was in high school though - spinning a 10-lb rifle 2 hours a day for 4 years will do that to you).

Colonel said he thinks I aggravated the nerve nodule around the elbow (I think it's the same one as the 'funny bone'), and that there really isn't anything I can do for it beyond what I'm doing. He said that it may or may not get better, but I'm young and healthy, so it should. I think it feels better than it did yesterday or even earlier today...it certainly helps to keep it moving so it doesn't freeze up.

My left hand looks particularly nasty because I put some of that liquid bandage stuff on it - I can't pay a band-aid to stick on my palm because of all the movement and whatnot. HOLY CRAP!! That stuff made me want to say words that I don't say! I wanted to scream, but I decided my air would be better spent blowing on it. Dude...that stuff is freaking awful. I don't think I'll EVER use it again.
I used that stuff recently. I ripped part of my fingernail off and didn't want to try messing with a standard band-aid on it, though I wish I would have. Holy does that crap sting. It smells bad, too. I wouldn't want to put that on an open wound again.

                  Damn.

Personally I'm just sticking with a .357 Magnum. But they get really jerky, though, when you shoot with hollow-tips at the shooting range. Makes aiming a little trickier.

Lol...they were demilitarized. The firing pin was removed and the barrel was pumped with about 2 lbs of metal. We used them for exhibition drill.

We had pump-action daisies for firing, but I'm not sure they even let them use those anymore because of all the OMG GUNS ON CAMPUS!!! insanity. (and that's the end of that discussion unless y'all want to take it to fratching).

Seriously though, it was pretty freaking sweet to see 13 relatively small high school girls spinning 10 or 11 lb weapons. Most programs had their girls spin 2-lb facsimiles. We always joked that we could chuck those things from one end of the football field to the other. Nothing like spinning the real deal.

*EDIT* - for those who are interested: This is a video of my brother's state championship exhibition routine. He was a Junior here, but he won the championship his Freshman year. The quality sucks, it was with an ancient digital camera, but it gives an idea. I think it's pretty cool
