The Ugly Rug of Death....

Has become my ferrets favorite play thing. On to the story!

So we were shopping at Freddies on Sunday... because well... they rock... and our meanderings lead us to the home decor section.... where we happened to pass a sign proclaiming "50% off All blahXblah rugs" Intrigued I was so I stopped to have a proper gander, and before me... the last on the shelf was with out a doubt the most horrid rug I had ever seen. Imagine if you will a cat eating a tan and orange plaid skirt.... puking it back up into a hair ball of death.... and then untangling that hair ball into a shag carpet... you would be getting close. Every fiber in my being cringed at the sight of this rug... it was awful... it was ugly.... it was gaudy... it was ....amazingly soft and fun... and I knew that two little carpet sharks would LOVE IT. So I put it in the cart and proceeded to spend a whole $7 dollars on it.



...It has become a HEAVEN. And we put little smelly things on it. IE- I sprayed some perfume on one corner and Kodo went nuts for it. The Beau accidentally dropped some tobacco on it and OH BOY did that go over well... and if we roll it up into a nice loose inside out tube... OH GOD it is like Ferret crack. So we have decided the rug will stay. And we shall continue to smell it up with ferret bait till the day comes when it reeks with a stench so ungodly that the only course of action will be to burn it.... burn it into stinky stinky ashes......


...and then buy a new one....


........this just in... Art the Cat loves it too.... she wants to eat it...

Best $7 I have ever spent... though quite possibly the ugliest.

Haha! No, they just love the rug that much.... and they were still trying to wake up when I grabbed them for the photo shoot!

Hehehe! Thank you! ^_^ I believe them to be quite cute as well.... you should see them "war dance" It is quite possibly the cutest thing on the planet. and I am pretty sure it defies at least 3 laws of physics... which 3? I have no clue... but I am sure they are very very broken.
