So I went to see Manson (as in marilyn manson) over the weekend down in London, Ontario.

Now i've seen him 4 times total (this past weekend being the 4th) so while looking forward to it I kinda knew what to expect (he puts on a very good show. definently uses lots of special effects/props etc.)

ANYWAYS my gf and my friends going with me had never seen him before and were thrilled to be able to see him.

and... he was on stage for MAYBE an hour. (got on abour 9:20pm or so, house lights were up and we were out the door by 10:35pm).

I was a little annoyed because any other time i've seen him (In Toronto not london) it's been at least a 90 min if not a 2+ hour show (he's got alot of material to cover :P).

Then my friend who lives in London told me its' some stupid law or bylaw or regulation that the centre he played at (JLC, the John labbat centre) has a idiotic rule that everyone HAS to be out and the place HAS to be empty by 11pm.

I partially blame the JLC for this since... WHY? bars are open till 2 or 3 am why do events held have to be done by 11pm? it makes NO sense.

and I blame the band as, you (or managers or promoters or wheover organizes the damn show) must KNOW that 'hey guys we gotta be done this by 11pm at the latest!' so.. START earlier. people were showing up at like 7pm anyways.

Just annoyed me. because i paid MORE than I have ever paid for a ticket in Toronto and I got LESS of a show for it.

Oh well the gf was happy so thats god (although she thought it was short too).
Common sense... So rare it's a goddamn superpower.

It does seem sort of peculiar. I wonder why that is? On the other hand, YOU LUCKY DOG! I would KILL to see Marilyn Manson!

I have wanted to visit Canada, but don't know if I will ever get to do so.

My husband thinks it's weird that I'm such a Marilyn Manson fan. He thinks it's because Marilyn Manson and I both grew up in a Pentecostal household. I keep telling him it's because Marilyn Manson ROCKS OUT LOUD!

I saw Manson once, before he was big, opening for Nine Inch Nails. Yeah the show rocked.
