What should be the next step?

I'm currently undertaking a very large web project. The project is sites about dog breeds - each their own site (with an address like breed.tld). I have the "core" site up and a couple of other sites up but I'm wondering - which one should I do next?

Alaskan Klee Kais (miniature huskies)
Belgian Malinois
Collies (as in Lassie - not border collies etc..)
Newfoundlands
Australian Cattle dogs
Schipperkes (miniature groenendales (sp?))

I have a lot of others but I've decided that this is the next batch.

If I do a popular breed while it will get more traffic, the competition will be extremely high when it comes to search engine results.

Less popular breeds, while getting less traffic, will be easier to get high on the search engines (and then accelerate traffic).

So, what do you think I should do next?

Newfoundlands! But not for any real valid reason... I just like the idea of a dog that can be mistaken for a bear.

This, since you can link them all together, driving up the ranking on the more popular breeds when you finally do them.


Or Newfoundlands. Same as the_STD.

i would go with the husky too but i would also say Akita or Doberman.... because they are freaking awesome dogs

Klee Kais are not recognized by the AKC, nor are they in their foundation stock services (hence not well known). My "short' description is very accurate - they're miniauture huskies. (This only means that they don't want to conform to AKC regulations - I'll leave it at that to prevent fratching). They are fully recognized by the UKC / FCI, though.

Unfortunately I didn't get the border collie domain (*sigh*) but I did get the dobie and shiba inu domains.

So, I'm down to three projects:

Collies (due to the popularity)
Newfies
Klee Kais (these two due to votes).

well... newfies are awesome too though i cant have one because i live in stupid arizona and they dont do well in 100+ temps

though if you can eventually get the dobies and the awesome shiba inu that would be cool buy i again cast for the klee kais, because it would make me sad to see all the pretty newfies and no i cant have one...

I read an article earlier this year that stated that even though there re a few bite incidents a year, their reputation is so great that those don't even tarnish it.

Luckily our collie doesn't meet either of your experiences, too.
