A month living at home, and today, I get a handwritten note from my ex roommates... 5 pages of diatribe about how I'm horrible for writing off my debt to them by having the one who owes me all of it plus $30 and having her pay them back, and how Pimus wasn't there to sign off on my signing over Secundus' debt to her. And, the 'contract' (a piece of notebook paper, with the list of debts, and my signature, Primus', Secundus', and Quartus' signatures) and how legal it is.
And, oh yeah, I broke Quartus' bed frame by sitting on it, so I owe the money to get it fixed, even though the frame and bed had only been delivered the day prior... so, brand new, and I sit on it, and it breaks, and I'd had all my weight on it not minutes previously. It's not like I'd jumped up and down on it, and I didn't sit down heavily...
I'm just pissed now, that's all there is to it. A month away from them, and they're still trying to ruin my life. I owe something like $280 to the three of them, total, but Secundus owes me $310, so, by signing my debt over to her, i'm saving her $30... And, really? She thinks she might spend money to get a lawyer over $280? Only to be told to pay me $30 instead? Really? She's insane.
