My job got more stressful as time went on. I decided to cut my losses and qit. I need a new job....

Not to be too preachy, but you really should find a new job before you quit the old one. Especially nowadays with the economy being what it is. I know several people who have been out of work for months, my friend. I appreciate my job security now more than ever! And I know, job stress sucks, but I know I am not alone in having worked shitass sucktastic jobs that I absolutely detested, but continued to work at until I found a new, better job.
