I'd go with Redi-Whip whipped cream over Cool Whip...
It's all about personal taste... like everything else in this thread.

Oh yeah... I had forgotten my coffee page- with tips/recipes:
    Nokomys Coffees

If you hit the home button at the bottom you can also choose to go see my salsa recipes.

So today I decided to make some coffee for the purpose of emptying an envelope of hot chocolate into a cup along with the coffee.

Muuuuyyyyyyy, that was good. Me likey.

I've got some Swiss Miss hot chocolate that has added caffeine. I am both curious and afraid to dump that in my coffee. I'm thinking the final result would have me running through walls.

Y'know, I might almost start drinking coffee more regularly. But please shoot me if I become an insufferable coffee snob, k?

Not really the point of this thread, but the first coffee I ever had was flavoured coffee from Second Cup. It was Raspberry Chocolate flavoured, and my love affair with the bean has continued since then.

More on topic, adding hot chocolate powder and a bit of cream to coffee is fantastic. Thanks for creating this thread, purplecat. I had completely forgotten how delicious it is.

Our work coffee is terrible (but free!) and they also provide hot chocolate mix, so I mix the two together. It makes it tolerable, at least. I'm going to have to try the chocolate syrup at home though.

Oh, and the Starbucks peppermint mochas are by far the best. They only advertise them during the holidays, but you can get them any time of year if you ask

When I went to the grocery last weekend, they had the seasonal Coffee Mate flavors. I will have to stock up on Peppermint Mocha because it will only be available until sometime in December.

That would be hypocritical because I AM an insufferable coffee snob.

I'm with ya. I was a confirmed tea drinker until college, when I tasted my first latte ever. It was mint mocha with whipped cream and a lone chocolate-covered espresso bean on top. I fell in love right then and there.
