I baked like 20 dozen cookies yesterday and while moving cookies from pan to cooling rack I some how managed to knock the inside of my arm against the pan, fresh from the 375 deg F oven, so, despite proper treatment, I now have a lovely 3" long dark pink line on my pale pale skin. Most likely will scar as I scar easily.

Ouch!!!!
Get some aloe (keep it in the fridge) and some vitamin E oil - both of those will work wonders!

Sugar, chocolate chip, and cream cheese. They're all gone (took them to the soup kitchen Wed night).
I ran it under water forever then put on plenty of aloe and have been re-applying the aloe regularly. When I was at the groc store today I got some antibiotic/burn cream. So it's properly taken care of. Just looks real ugly.Don't wanna; not gonna.

I did the same thing a couple years back when I was on the job (I was a baker). 800 degree oven + human flesh = Zombie Scar that's still visible when my body gets over heated.
Be sure to invest in real Aloe. An actual Aloe plant is best but the bottled stuff is okay when you can find it. Apply it twice a day and the scar will deminish. Mine is almost barely visible now.Ridiculous 2009 Predictions: Evil Queen will beat Martha Stewart to death with a muffin pan. All hail Evil Queen! (Some things don't need elaboration.....) -- Jester

I've done that once or twice. Hope yours gets better soon!
I'm curious, why do you keep it in the fridge? I have a bottle of aloe gel but it just sits in my bathroom cabinet.Quoth draggar View PostGet some aloe (keep it in the fridge) and some vitamin E oil - both of those will work wonders!
