  • They're making a left turn!

Yesterday, my wife and I were given tickets to the Price Chopper 400 at the Kansas Speedway. I got some free stuff, watched a mini motocross event (guys doing jumps over an RV...repeatedly). Overall the race was okay. I think I prefer watching football in the stadium, but I have to confess. When all forty engines fired at the same time, my inner redneck was hootin' and a hollerin'.

No one could prove it was actually me
I have a...thing. Wanna see it?

Kansas tends to be one the more boring tracks on the circuit so it doesn't suprise me they are giving away tickets.

There is nothing like the feeling you get with the roar of the engines when they first start them at race.

As as far Football vs NASCAR, I'll just leave that up to each personal opinion. I'm a NASCAR/Racing Fan and also football fan but I don't get into a "Which is better"pissing contests because people like what they like, and I'm not going to change their minds..

besides.. once you gone to a figure 8 race, NASCAR/football will seem tame..

Just sliding down the razor blade of life.

Heh, my Dad called me yesterday just to be sure I knew that the Kansas race was that weekend. Gee, thanks, Dad.

I was nearby with a friend at the Ren Fest. The jets flew over us at one point. Bloodbeard, from the Jolly Rogers, kept opening his show with. "Good day! *waited for response from the crowd* No, no, I want you to do better than that ! I want you to sound like ten thousand screaming nascar fans! GOOD DAY!"

I went to a Schoolbus figure 8 a couple times.
          That was quite the experience.
