  • USPS / US Mail question

If something arrived at my local sorting (well, was checked in) at 4:30am would it be likely that it would be delivered today or tomorrow?

I'd imagine it would likely depend on how much mail they had to work through, and whether they sorted it to route before the delivery person left that day to do rounds.

It's for Fort Lauderdale so then I guess it'll be here tomorrow.

Items generally received at the processing plant after 8am will most likely be delivered the next day unless they have another stop to go through and then it is the day after next.

Draggar the scan you saw was most likely the scan for the processing plant and Broom's posts do apply.

Express are done first, international priority, priority, international first class, first class, media mail, international standard, standard. When the cut off for your truck comes if something is not done that it's bumped up in it's time stamp and done the next day.
