    Some Relief!

    Im very excited this morning!

    From my posts, im sure alot of people have gathered that i sustained a rather wicked shoulder injury (2 dislocations within a week, plus a small chip of bone floating in the joint, causing early onset arthritis which swells the joint and causes the bone chip to rub=baaad pain)

    I was prescribed neproxin and tylenol 3 with codeine, they killed my stomach causing more issues, and at one point i was taking 5-7 T3s in a pop just to dull down my bad days.

    Last night my boss noticed that i was hardly moving my left arm, id given up on any pain meds due to me taking so much and was miserable, couldnt cuddle with my gf at night due to me having to sleep surrounded by pillows, or a certain way, frequent tossing and turning and everything.

    So boss man gave me some Tramacet and i took 2 before bed i got to be snuggley, i got a full nights rest, i feel AMAZING and theres STILL no pain this morning. Usually i have to stretch for 20 mins just to be able to use my left arm!

    I know its pointless but im excited lol

    Wow, the injury sounds horrible, I'm sorry you're having to go through that. But at least you got some relief, even if it's temporary. Were or are you going to be able to get that bone chip out, and would it help?

        Its so small its not really worth the risk of surgery, it only bothers me when theres a whole bunch of swelling.

        This is the main reason i took a sales job, so now i have meds to counteract the day to day pain and can be pain free, and hopefully get my ass to the gym again to strengthen the muscle and reduce the discomfort even more.

          Have you talked to your doctor about prescribing something else for pain? If the T3s are killng your stomach, id let him know. It must be horrible to not be able to have a fully functioning arm. Im sorry. Hope you feel better.

            lol screw the doc, get your boss to give you some more of those pills! if they work, use 'em ^_^

              The plan is to get enough from the boss man to last me till pay day then ill take a packet into my doc and say "these really work!"
