Will you walk outside when it is 89 degrees out and think "Wow it's cooled down".

How can I say this politely?

There are some of us here who are not going to see temps over 60 degrees again until probably next June.

No, Draggar. Happens in Kansas, too. Well, only in spring, summer, and fall, but it happens.

It's highly unusual for this time of year to be that hot. Right around SO's birthday is when it's nice outside. But not this year. Unusual and kinda sad really.

What's rain? (We haven't had rain in over a month now).

The news has been trumpeting record lows for three days all over the country!

You gotta hand to those Canadians: Their generosity surges completely out of control when it comes to sharing their cold air with us. I swear to God: They must have so much cold air they could probably put out the Sun if they wanted to.

Gotta love a country with a flag that has a leaf right on the front that looks suspiciously like a pot leaf... Yeah Canada, it's a maple leaf (lllliiiiieeess!!)...

                    But not this year.

Cold already, and it's not even November yet. It's gonna be a long, cold, miserable winter on ol' Mt. Oread this year. *sigh*

It's about sixty right now here in North Florida. I'm a bit chilly. It wouldn't be that bad, but the wind is about twenty miles an hour now. But in about a week, it's going to be back into the eighties.

According to the weather widget on my desktop, it is 46 degrees outside right now.

According to my thermometer in the hall, it is 64 degrees in my apartment. It said 67 when it was closer to both a lamp and the sliding glass door a couple hours ago.

When I called the office they said the heat is on (and I can feel a small bit of warmth coming out if I put my hand right up to the heater) but I have the knob up to 8 (out of 8) and it has not gotten any warmer in here. They are supposed to come check it

It's a bit cold for my area, it usually doesn't get to the 40's at night until about New Years at the earliest. Hell, last year for Christmas Mother Nature gave me a nice, warm 75 degree day to open presents on.
Eh, one day I'll have something useful here. Until then, have a cookie or two.
