So today I had my tooth pulled. They had to break it in half, then pull out a drill to get it all out. My jaw hurts, even w/ the tylenol3 they gave me. I haven't taken my sleepy meds cause I'm not sure how they would react w/ narcotics... so I'm wide awake and in pain.

Rinse mouth with warm salt water, helps heal hole. Take those pills. Start with full stomach and half a pill for pain, and keep eye on self. If it makes you feel better, have someone in the house with you. Snooze and repeat.

All my oral surgeries have been smooth sailing. But my friend totally feels for you. When she had her wisdom teeth pulled, they broke her jaw (intentionally) to do it. Unfortunately they failed to tell her that and that it required special care. She couldn't eat anything except broth for 3 weeks. They also didn't give her the proper pain meds so she was in agony most of the time. When you can chew properly, cookies for you!
