I think we did this a while back, but I'm bored and I took over 400 pictures on vacation last month and I want to show them off.

So, post some good pictures that you've taken.

I'll start.



This is a view from the West bound span of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge that was taken in August of 2008. The trailer in the water was part of a terrible accident that tied up traffic for hours. Took 4 hours to go 30 miles.

WOW you were there that day? I wasn't, but I was living in Annapolis at the time and people were getting hotel rooms for the night because they heard how bad it was. That accident was just horrid, not so much for the traffic as for the poor trucker who was killed.

Yeah I was there. It was a horrible day, I felt so bad for the trucker, and of course for all of us stuck in the aftermath.

When I left Ocean City that morning I figured it'd be clear by the time we got there. Got to the Queenstown Outlets and stopped figuring I'd give it another hour, and it took 4 hours to get from the Outlets to the bridge.

Nothing special, just recent shots of my cats. The blue one is Chessie, the tortie tabby is Millie.

The one of the cloud is what I call my Apocolypse Cloud. It was just a huge cloud and the sun was setting and it gave off this explosion look. I LOVE this picture.

The second is an emu at the Cheyenne Mtn Zoo. I was there with the family and I was getting annoyed that the animals kept looking away. I got fed up and said "Fine. Don't look over here!" snapped the picture and kept going. It wasn't until I uploaded the pics that I saw the emu looked right at me.
