(this is after entering Marion, Beverly & Sharon)

    "Entering Lawrence."
My God! I was out of control.
And I'd no sooner finished with Lawrence
Than Boom! I was entering Lowell.
Then I backtracked and re-entered Lawrence,
Then Quincy and Norton as well.
Around midnight I pulled into Athol
And flopped in a fleabag motel.

That's one of the great things about working in my university. We don't block ANYTHING. Bwah ha ha.

Of course, it makes cleaning up some computers.................. interesting.

I can just see the following entry in a road trip journal:

We slipped past Netherthong, slid into Scunthorpe, and about 30 minutes later, pulled out (of) Wetwang.

We've got a town/city called Scunthorpe, which is probably the origin of the street name. We've also got Netherthong and Wetwang as local (to me) village names.

There's a town in the eastern half of my state, (Washington), that is named Toppenish.
I can beat that - there's a street in Toronto (can't recall exactly which of the cities it was in before Metro Toronto was amalgamated into one city) that's named Scunthorpe.

Some years back, a situation arose, and since it's been awhile my memory is foggy on the exact details, but it was something like the kids at the local schools, couldn't research their own town on the school's computers, because the filter considered Toppenish a dirty word!

    Draggar, you play Farkle, too?
    Yes.

CS.com is still blocked at work so I think it is permanent.

As for Firefox, yes you can install it but then you get flagged and an uninstaller hunts it down within a day.

Kia, oh, yeah. I decide to go without a decent amount of sleep to play that game before bed.

By some miracle I'm now in 3rd place among my friends. My SIL is second, and a random friend of mine is in first. I'll NEVER beat his score--it's over a million.

Bejeweled Blitz is my crack game of choice, though.
    You too?

I have a competition going on now between me and three of my friends. Currently, I'm third.
