  • Tomorrow is my last full day in CT!

Sat the bf and I leave for New Hampshire!!!!!! No reason, just to get the heck outta Connecticut. It'll be good to not have to work for one whole week!!

The only thing we have planned it to see Star Wars in concert....other then that, just take thing as they come.

So excited, I am about 90% packed, just have to clean home and make sure the cats will be okay (the one thing I hate about travels, I miss my furbabies)

    Weeee!

Are you just vacationing there or moving?

Where are you going in NH?

Might I suggest Portsmouth - fun down (the old part of town - not the malls etc..).

Newicks in Dover Point - AWESOME seafood but it might not be easy to find.

Just a much needed vacation, work is killing me and the boy and I need more then just weekends together. I'd love to move to NH, but I have no $$ to do so...yet.

We're staying Grafton County, his 'rents have a place there we're using. Will probably pop into my beloved North Conway

One full week in NH.....I hope to see a moose!

I was very happy to get this twilight shot.

Day trip suggestion - head up 89 into Burlington, VT to the Ben & Jerry's "place".

... and yet you see the collision signs and trust me, you DON'T want to be one of those statistics.

That pic was gorgeous, Dave. I'm can't wait to see Mount Washington covered in snow.

I'm thinking of doing a day trip to VT...I'm not the biggest fan of ice cream, but I'd love a Ben and Jerry's shirt.

http://www.muddyriver.com/ in Portsmouth NH old town is one of my absolute favorite places, though they don't make the deep fried artichoke hearts any more =(

They're still around? Wow. When I used to "do" Portsmouth we'd to Muddy River for lunch, The Gas Light for dinner, and Bananas for "the night".

Yes, Muddy River is GREAT (so is the Portsmouth Gaslight Company).

I'm glad to see at least one of them is still around. Gaslight was still there last time I was but that was 3-4 years ago.

No. Don't brake for moose; it will fill your freezer!

Thanks. Like I said, I was really happy to get that picture, because earlier in the day (same scenic overlook) it looked like this.

On the plus side, though, it kinda gives the illusion of "flying in the clouds" on those gull-wings. Sort of like the opening credit sequence of BTTF2.

Like my dad used to say:
