  • All the awesome 90's music i've forgotten.

Alright so I'm trying to fill my iPod up with more music. Mostly I want all the awesome songs from the 1990's that I don't remember. Ages 15months to 11 years are kind of vague in my brain, so remind me of some songs I may have loved.

    To give you a hint of what I mean here are some songs I downloaded recently;
    Freshmen- Third eye Blind
    Superstar- Love Inc.
Here's the the Night- Eve 6
    Glycerine- Bush

Anyway Help please. Thanks all. ^-^
Hinakiba777- Student of Divinity-Always trying to get laid.

If you are not recalling tons of fantastic music from the 90's, believe me it ain't because you are "not remembering" it.

Nirvana, Green Day, Offspring, Nine Inch Nails, Bush, Beck, Oasis, Soundgarden or U2. For a more urban sound, try Boyz II Men, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., or TLC.

As for the more "One Hit Wonders"...

        Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta
        Chumbawumba - Tubthumping
        The Tea Party - Temptation
        The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony
Eve 6 - On the Roof Again
Marcy Playground - Sex and Candy
        Meredith Brooks - Bitch
        Blind Melon - No Rain
Deep Blue Something - Breakfast at Tiffany's
Savage Garden - I Want You
        Semisonic - Closing Time

If you don't recognize any of the titles, look them up on YouTube. Chances are you'll recognize them.

I second that emotion. I spent my teen years in the 90's....and I want them back

              Freshmen- Third eye Blind
I think the song you're thinking of is by Verve Pipe.

Yeah, people have already mentioned a lot of the bands I think of when I think of 90's music, but I would add matchbox twenty. "Yourself or someone like you" was one of the first CD's I bought, was a huge influence, and I still listen to it!

              Oh, and Oasis, of course.

I like The Verve Pipe version of "Freshmen" Better myself too Admin, but Third eye blind did it too.
Heh I forgot Semisonics "Closing Time" until Spiffy mentioned it.
Tubthumping was one of those that annoyed me but was to fun.

Butthole surfers-Pepper and Shame of life. About the only two things I liked.
Third Eye Blind- Hows it going to be, Jumper, deep inside of you.
Lots of Green Day- Brain Stew/Jaded,Walking contradiction,Sassafras Roots, etc.

I know its the list of what people typically like.

I am a GWAR fan. I like the songs with guest singers mostly. Lots of anger that I could never manifest. Lots of crude humor. Nothing people I work with could see me listening to.
Ragnorok is a good Album. but thats not really in line with what your after.

Anyone feeling Nostalgia for the 90's yet?

. I think I spent most of the 90's listening to 80's and heavy metal/ hard rock/classic rock. Music was just blah to me then.

Fatboy Slim - Praise You, Rockafeller Skank, Weapon of Choice
                              Moby - Porcelain
Basement Jaxx - Do Your Thing
                              Orgy - Blue Monday
I Mother Earth - One More Astronaut
Wide Mouth Mason - My Old Self
The Tea Party - Heaven Coming Down
                              Kid Rock - Bawitdaba

Weezer's blue album has a ton of great songs - My Name is Jonas, Buddy Holly, Undone (The Sweater Song), and Say It Ain't So - and it came out in 1994.
