  • Don't you know who I am?

Normally when you hear of a celebrity saying "don't you know who I am" they are either expecting to get something for free, they're expecting to get away with something, or just generally on a major ego trip. Well, here's one that's actually funny.

The setting: A small Irish pub. The pub's policy states that anyone who wants to use a credit card has to show ID - no exceptions.

    Waitress walks up to celebrity
"I will need to see some identification if you wish to use your credit card"

Celeb: Really? Don't you know who I am??

    Waitress: Unfortunately, no.

Next, the celeb gets a huge smile on their face, jumps out of their chair, gives the waitress a hug and a kiss on the cheek and says:
"That is why I love coming here! No one knows who I am!"

Anyone want to take a guess at who the celeb is?

They've been on the radio here a bit and are always a very cool person - willing to spend the entire show with the staff and doesn't mind playing their games (like "Are you famous enough to get free breakfast").
    Quote Dalesys:
... as in "Ifn thet dawg comes at me, Ima gonna shutz ma panz!"

    Re: Title

"Are you dense? Are you retarded or something? I'm the goddamned Batman."
    Ba'al: I'm a god. Gods are all-knowing.

I haven't the foggiest, who is it?
I am but a tiny, barren, insignificant rock caught in the glorious orbit of your shining sun. Gravekeeper.

I think I heard part of this story. I'm pretty sure it was Bill Murray but I could be wrong.

Was it Vanilla Ice? I know he lives down here somewhere, and is on Wild 95.5 all the time.
