  • What are YOU thankful for?

    A nice thread I thought I'd start.

I'm thankful for all the basics in my life. My parents, my cats, my house, etc.

But, mainly, what I'm thankful for is that I have a great job while hunting for a new one. I can't imagine the frustration and stress of job hunting without a job. My heart goes out to all the CSers who are in that position.

So, what are YOU thankful for?

    Things I am thankful for:

    My 3 healthy boys

    My husband

    My friends

    That I have a job

That my hubby finally found a job

I am also thankful to have a roof over my head, food and a bed to sleep in. There are many people who have none of these. We have a lot to be thankful for.

Also, I'm thankful for the wonderful people here on CS.
Take this job and shove it. I ain't workin here no more.

I am thankful that Khan came into the world this year, despite some difficulties, and he is a healthy, happy little monkey.

I am also grateful for an awesome husband, for the times when Khan is not so happy.

Family, healthy kids, an ornery dog and my cute guinea pig.

A working car, my own house and money to be able to pay my bills and buy some extras in life.

And of course, to be gainfully employed when so many have been fired or laid off.

                And my friends/guidance counselors (lol) here @ CS.com... <3

Honestly, for me, when I reflect on this, it almost feels surreal that I've lived THIS long.

In a couple of months it'll be 2010, yet another new decade. I'll be 35 going on 36and grown up through a period that wondered if we'd even live to see 1990 and kill ourselves in a nuclear war with Russia.

Having been through four major car wrecks with the most serious injury a mild concussion, just been through a nasty flu that's killed many people, and outlived many members of my family, I seriously wonder if I'm still here for some strange reason. Maybe I'll eventually find out sooner or later.

Thankful to have a job even if it's not the best thing in the world.

Thankful to be able to have a roof over my head and a bed to sleep in.

Thankful to have my kitty to snuggle with.
Eh, one day I'll have something useful here. Until then, have a cookie or two.

Thankful that I have a job right now, as I was laid off for a few months before I got my job.

Having a roof over my head, plenty of food, and a warm bed to sleep in at night.

                          Family and wonderful boyfriend

I"m thankful for my PT job, which, although is PT, it's still fun to do.
My cat and the other cat - they're both very nice kitties.
My bf, who's really supportive and helpful, a gem compared to the schlubs I used to date!

The free turkey from work - we're gonna enjoy it on Thursday! And we're saving the gizzards for the kittie girls.

And for my friends here @ CS - yalls are cool. Hugs and Happy Holidays!
