  • OH SHIT!

I've had troubles with computers before, but never this bad. I just had my laptop catch fire. Fortunately it wasn't on my lap at the time, so only my fingers got burned. But still... THat's scary.

    Especially with my pyrophobia.

If I knew, I would tell you. As it is, its one of life's mysteries.

Scared the hell out of me. I'm pyrophobic too.

Woow. Well, I'm glad you didn't get hurt (much) at least.

I read a few months ago (can't recall where) about there being a bad batch of lithium ion batteries which tended to catch fire. Various brands of laptops were involved.

                TYPE SLOWER!!!

But seriously, I'm glad you're OK.

Make sure you report the incident to the manufacturer. If it is a bad batch of batteries, then the sooner they know the sooner they can get them recalled.

This reminds me of the time my friend Pilot was telling me that his car blew up. I thought he meant the engine just died painfully. No, he meant the damn thing blew up. It was engulfed in flames within a minute, and he barely made it out alive. He sent me pictures. The damn thing looked like you would think a car would look like it if it had blown up. Fucked up.
