I did not want to hijack the other thread, so I made a new one to talk about my grandparents. They were two out of the three people who loved me unconditionally. The other one is Mr. Mis.

Anyway, my grandmother use to pass on messages to me through the big guy's dreams when he was about 5.

Now, I have to explain something before I tell you the rest. My grandparents did not like Mr. Mis, they made that clear to me. One of the messages my big guy gave me when he was 5 and use to talk to his great grandmother in his dreams was that she now realized how much Mr. Mis loved me and was good for me. She wanted me to know she now approves of him and our marriage. The big guy had no idea how she felt about his father one way or other, so the message meant nothing to him, but everything to me.

She finally said goodbye to me in my dream when the big guy was about 7. I think she stayed around to make sure everything would be okay with me and her great grandchildren.

Although, I had the distinct impression of her presence the other night, right before I went to bed. It was gone by the next morning. Maybe she was checking up on us, who knows?

I was hoping for some sort of sign from my grandfather, but so far, nothing.

I still talk to them, which would probably make someone who saw me think I was nuts, since I'm the only one in the room. I don't know if they can hear me, but it makes me feel batter. They were the ones I turned to when I had questions on life and/or didn't know how to handle a situation.

Not all hauntings are bad - sometimes they stick around to make sure we're doing OK.

My grandmother hated my father, and she had good reason to because he cheated on my mother 3 times before they divorced and he married the third woman he cheated with, which is why my relationship with him and my step mother isn't the best, but i've learn't to tolerate her.

I've been talking to my grandmother lately, i'm hoping she's having a ball wherever she is, been reunited with her parents who apparently were fantastic people, I wish I had gotten to know them.

I'm sure she'll visit again, I feel she's around, she may pay my kids a visit.

draggar I don't think most hauntings are bad. I have found only a handful of places were I would say that the hauntings scared the bejesus out of me and I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Supermarket Slave Girl My grandmother's sister told me that my grandmother thought that since there is an age gap that between me and Mr. Mis that he would be controlling and maybe abusive. I guess once my grandmother died she realized that what she feared was not happening.
