That is highly rude IMO - you could be allergic or have something on that reacts to it, it could damage your clothes or your hair...
I'm really sensitive to the perfumes they put in some hair sprays... I would have FREAKED. I applaud you!

as for the good timing... It makes me wonder if maybe coffee girl and hair spray girl were working together... distract the customer... steal the money and split the profits ((maybe only a dollar either way but still a dollar)) and if they did it to more people than just you....

      Just a thought

Now I have a flute studio working with middle schoolers, one elementary kid and 2 high schoolers. Making so much more money.
Congrats on moving on to something nicer and better! Not to mention, better-paying!

Hairspray has a tendency to trigger my asthma. If that is that hairspray sellers normal approach I'm surprised it hasn't come back to bite her in the ass with someone like me.
Ditto, I would have smacked her one if she had done that to me, once I'd got my breath back or if I ended up in hospital, set lawyers on them.

And because of that, coupled with my hair getting caught, touched, stroked, etc by objects and people, I cut my hair over the summer. Sixteen inches gone. No one messes with me anymore.
It's too bad you had to cut your hair because stupid people couldn't be bothered to keep their hands to themselves.

kinda makes me wonder if the hair girl and the coffee girl are working together, judging by the timing.

The timing did strike me as a bit strange, too, though that seems an inefficient and risky way to scam people. If someone has a severe allergic reaction to the hairspray, they could attract far too much attention to the would-be scammers. Then again, anyone who can't follow a simple instruction like "two extra pumps" or who thinks nothing of spraying chemicals on someone else isn't exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer.

              Not overboard.

Overboard would have been what I would have done.

Except it was a kiosk and she never entered the place, so there's no imprisonment, let alone false.
But there would be assault charges filed. See above.

The poster that got her hair grabbed...I wonder if that was what the last hair kiosk chick I encountered was up to? She spoke, I declined and kept going, husband behind me said to her "Uh, yeah, real bad idea there."

No idea if she was reaching or following. I should ask.

Except I was specifically addressing the bit I'd quoted, about "false imprisonment." I didn't mention whether or not there'd be other charges. Please take my posts in the context they're offered.

I did take them in the context they were offered. And then imagined myself in the place of the person being strongarmed.

And then I imagined beating the ever loving shit out of the kiosk idiot.

The assault charge would be the one filed against me. The "see above" pertained to my going overboard.
