Ugh. FML. The head of the Math Dept said no to my request because she says "snow showers aren't that bad."

    Eff you.

To anyone else who wants to complain about how cold it is where they are:

To summarize, on Dec. 13, overnight, Edmonton was the second-coldest inhabited place on the planet, reaching -46.1C, -58C including the windchill factor. New record low for the month of December. We win!

Tell me about it, I was working outdoors that night in it and the equipment kept breaking down because of it.

I felt really bad for the people in Sherwood park last night. 12 hours without power in a record breaking low temperature.

We never did get snow in Pittsburgh. All of the "end of the world" crap on the media...and all we got was rain. In fact, it's about 40 degrees F outside right now!

It's so cold my boogers froze this morning.

Ugh, the most wonderful time of the year when every noise is magnified, my locks are frozen shut, and my tear drops and boogers freeze upon walking outdoors.

Today is supposed to hit somewhere around -45 Celsius (-50 Fahrenheit), and it's been sitting around this temperature for at least four days now.

Last year we kept getting down to -55 Celsius, which is right around -67 Fahrenheit. Unfortunately, we are used to the cold.

I heard all about this when I got back from my week in Mexico. I was really sorry I missed it.
