No love for Temperance Brennan from "Bones"?

I don't think she's all that attractive actually. I like her character though.
i heart temperance! she's probably one of my favorite characters. i think she's a cutie, too...

but if we're just gonna go on the csi/ncis shows...i like abby from ncis. i adore her fashion sense and her personality. i don't watch ncis: la, so i don't know about those characters...any hotties on that show?

The more I look at this the more I'm perplexed by how far the "crime drama" type show has fallen. How did we get from this gritty hardened cops and no nonsense legal professionals sort of look to goth Sailor Moon there? ;p

Yes, another vote for Abby of NCIS, but the earlier version of her... In earlier seasons she seemed to be less manic, more sly, almost like the character was being played in a lower key (if that makes any sense).

Secondary vote to Jordan Cavanaugh, only because I like Jill Hennessy so much... and her identical twin, Jacqueline.

And I'd like to add an honourable mention to Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) of "Criminal Minds".

She looks like a character that could get overplayed really fast if you weren't careful, yes.

Seriously? Okay, a) More ladies who look like Jill is not a bad thing, but b) why would any parents do that? That's just mean.

To everyone who's voted for Sara Sidle from CSI: Las Vegas... I think you have *horrible* taste

Whenever she's trying to look tough, she just looks constipated. When she lets the walls down a bit, she's okay looking, but since her whole character for most of the run of the show to date is "I'm a hard-ass who doesn't need anyone," those moments are sparse indeed. Plus the obsessive behaviour? Gah. No thanks.

Now, if I had to pick someone besides Jordan, I'd take a left-field pick of Lt. Anita Van Buren from Law and Order early in the series. Yeah, she's a fair bit older than me, but still.

Realism? Not every cop is a big tough guy.

                      *snerk*

No, apparently they're all beautiful people who know exactly what to say to rattle the perp's cage, constantly become involved with co-workers, and always catch the bad guy.

Please, the only crime show with an ounce of realism is Law and Order.

That's because she can scientifically prove whether or not you did the deed.

Can a straight gal throw in a vote for Abby? I've always found her character totally fascinating from the goth attire to her personality and her intelligence.

Or possibly the one who go killed early in csi Vegas. Holly I think she was called.
Holly Gribbs. Must have made a real impression on you, as she was only on the first two episodes of CSI.

I never said we needed to limit it to CSI or NCIS. I mentioned those characters prominently because these are the shows I am most familiar with, but I also said for anyone to mention any other hot forensics/detective show chick they thought worthy of mentioning.

It makes total sense, and I have noticed it too. She is definitely "calmer" in earlier seasons of NCIS, though there are early episodes where she is amped up, and later episodes where she is calmer.....

I don't see why not. I never limited this to any particular voting base, and since we are merely voting for "hottest" rather than "chick I would most like to boink," go for it!

Actually, I meant because anyone who has tried to attack Abby wound up begging to get away from her.
