    Ultimate Geeky Evening!!

    Last night, three friends and I went to see a Rifftrax event...LIVE!! In other words, Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett (i.e., Mike Nelson, Tom Servo, and Crow T. Robot from MST3K) were there to mock old Christmas short films, and their special guest was....WEIRD AL!!

    My friends and I were seated in the 5th row, dead center. Perfect seats! After the show, we went to the local brewery where we'd been told the guys would be. After a short wait in line, we got to MEET THEM!!

    I got to meet the MST3K guys AND Weird Al!!! *geeking the heck out*

    Oh, and just to add a little extra geekery to the evening:

    1. Bill Corbett (the voice of Crow T. Robot) was wearing a long striped scarf ala the Fourth Doctor.

    2. I got home that night to discover that my friend had bought me a one-day pass to Comic Con for Christmas.

      That sounds awesome! My husband and I and a bunch of friends of ours went to a Rifftrax Live event where they showed Plan 9 From Outer Space...it was HILARIOUS...I'd never seen Rifftrax before that but I loved it. And it was a perfect film for what they do.

      Hope you have a blast at Comic Con.

        I saw that broadcast, too! "Ah ah ah! One, two, THREE Bela Lugosi's!"

        I've been a fan of them since MST3K, and RiffTrax is just amazing. DEFINITELY get the one for Spiderman 3--it's the perfect way to sit through that movie.
