So, we had one of those big jars of Tostidos Salsa in the pantry that I decided to crack open 2 days ago. It was one of those big tall jars, at least twice the size of the standard sized jars. And since it was just opened, we hadn't eaten much of it yet so it was mostly still full.
Yeah...I dropped it on the kitchen floor and it shattered. The floor, and fridge, and oven, are currently drenched in salsa.
One of the cats came to investigate the noise and watched me pick up the pick chunks of glass and throw them away. He sat right at the entrance to the kitchen and I could almost hear him thinking, "Yeah...that mess looks like too much even for me." My husband said that there's only so much one little kitty can shove under the fridge.
Sigh. Guess it's time to get out the bucket and sponge...

) and fortunately the oven wasn't on so it didn't get dried out and crusty on the oven door. Jeez, quite the friend your roomie is for leaving you that little surprise without even telling you!
