As a parent to a kid in diapers I would find it extremely bizarre if one of my relatives suggested that another family member help me change my kid's diaper.

Luckily our extended family loves to baby-sit even though the little guy is still in diapers.

Guess I'm the weird one. I've change my cousins' diapers, my cousins' kids' diapers, my nephews' diapers, and my godson's diapers all voluntarily.

That's the key word right there. You did it voluntarily. But the OP's aunt was saying it's her JOB as a COUSIN to change diapers. Which is utter crap.

I'm now pushing 50 years old and have NEVER changed a (human) diaper. I was never allowed to babysit when I was young, and never had the desire to reproduce.

I do have one dog that suffers from spay incontinence, so when she sleeps in the bed, she wears a doggie diaper. Amazingly, her diaper always stays dry. I guess just wearing it makes her think about it more, but without it, she relaxes more and dribbles. Also, after a few nights with a diaper, she can go a few weeks without.
