Because this stupid filling in my back molar came out for the SECOND TIME!!!!



And even with novocaine it hurts like a BITCH for the dentist to drill into it or even to pick into it.



Argh! I'm getting more and more tempted to just have the dumb thing pulled, but I'd like to keep all my teeth since I'm only halfway through life.

My wisdom teeth keep coming in one at a time. First my upper left. At the time, no other wisdom teeth showed signs of coming through. So I just had that pulled. Months later my top right came through and hurt like hell. That got pulled a week before I had to travel for work. That was in July. Now it's January and my bottom right one is coming in. It's getting painful and I can feel that part of my mouth getting swollen.

When I got my wisdom teeth out, my orthodontist said I needed the bottom ones out before he could take my retainer off. When I went to the surgeon, he looked at my xrays and said I should get them all out, because if I didn't I'd just be back in six months. Oh, and I got them out on New Year's Eve. Happy New Year!

I just got a crown on a back tooth, and when he went to prepare the tooth, he discovered a cavity on another tooth (which wasn't there a few months earlier ). Luckily it was on the same side so he could do them both (he won't numb both sides of your mouth at once) but I had some trouble with the novacaine, and it took 3 shots before he was able to do the crown . I don't usually have that much trouble.

You can get some Den-Tek at CVS or Walgreens. It's good as a temporary filler solution until you see the dentist, it also has some clove oil in it for the pain. Works good!
