Hubby and I are going to Las Vegas this month. First time there, not interested in the gambling but the other sights. Dad and step mom are paying for the flight and condo, we are taking care of everything else. This is the second time I have been flying.

Stay on the strip.
You can go to Fremont street, but if you are on the strip, you should stay on the strip. You could otherwise get stranded in a bad place.
Drink LOTS of water. LOTS.Comment

Loved Vegas.
I was there with my astronomy class (we were using a telescope in AZ, but my rather intelligent teacher discovered it was cheaper to fly out of Vegas, and the day it was cheaper required us to stay a night. Smart, smart man.)
We did gamble, but not much.....we mainly just walked around (and drank) We did the Star Trek Experience and a Ferengi mentioned to my tecahet we was a lucky man to have two female with him
