Annoying Dream Customer

Has anyone ever had to deal with customers in their dreams?

I am still recovering from the surgery and still taking very strong painkillers (as a different topic, I have to get back on to the hospital to find out why it still hurts so much as it should be healing by now

The painkillers are, I believe, causing some very unusual nightmares and dreams.

Here is the one from last night, at the time, i thought it was a real situation.
I do not know what lead to any of what i dreamed as i have never worked in the situation depicted.


the dream started that i was standing by a field which was smelling very lemony and was full of sausagemeat. WTF, HUH?

I got called to a cashdesk to help a customer who was holding a pair of earrings and said she needed to make an appointment to get one of the free magazines the shop gave out.i tried several buttons on the till, finally found an appointment button, appointment was not till March.

so to be helpful, i went into the corridor to see if anyone could give the customer a copy of the magazine.Gordon Ramsey was selling food there but could not help.I walked for ages asking people, nobody could help.

i went back to the customer and found that the cashdesk was now in the middle of a frozen swimming pool, the customer was sitting calmly on the counter.She called to me asking where she could buy lemon flavoured sausagemeat and i tried to give her directions to the field i had first been in but she did not appear to understand.

i could not just leave here there so i lowered myself onto the ice and as i was trying to work up the courage to let go of the side of the swimming pool and go to the cashdesk, i woke up.

what was all that about?At least she wasn't sucky, but i was getting more and more panicky trying to help her and not being able to do so.

Well. Seeing sausagemeat typically means Material Values.


It um. Also means... that... thing between men legs.

MOVING ON.


Magazines means your open to new things, and partically to whatever the magazine was about.

Lemons means something is inferior. Maybe like a realationship going sour. Or that you need to be cleaned or healed, or that oyu need to save or be more ecnoimcial.

Frozen swimming pool? Well menas something has been suppressed, or rejected. It also may mean that your feeling are cold and bitter. Since you were in that frozen, you may feel cold or hating yourself. The swimming refers to exploring your own unconscious mind and emontions, and your seeking some sort of emontional support.

Earrings, since it seems you were trying to sell/buy, means your desiring acceptience or affection.

I'm just relieved to know that I'm not the only person to have Chef Ramsay show up in their dreams.

I've been using Ambien for the last few weeks to get me to sleep properly (Restless Leg Syndrome)...and both Ambien AND Tylenol PM will make me have very interesting, vivid, colorful dreams.

Personally I think it's due to the level and amount of sleep you get - when they knock you out, you're able to go into REM sleep, where you dream. And you can then spend more time in the REM cycle, because you're sleeping so hard.

Doesn't bother me any. Except when I wake up and look at the clock, and think: 7:28 out of 10 is 2. 72. LOL
