Friday is D's birthday. She's been bugging me for a Snail for months now, and since I didn't have the money to get her one for Christmas, I managed to be able to order one for her birthday. It arrived at my sisters place today (well, yesterday at this point). She's absolutely convinced that she's not getting one unless she buys it herself.
I plan to pick it up on my way to work, and swing by the store to get wrapping paper and bows, and wrap it up at work.
Friday morning when I get home, I plan to place it on my side of the bed and kiss her awake. It will be interesting to see her reaction.
