  • A benefit of dental surgery

I had dental surgery on Jan 20th (Mr. Mis's birthday) and while it hurt like flaming hot hell during and after, I noticed that the swelling pushed a couple of wrinkles out making it look like I never had them. That is about the only benefit from it so far. The other benefit will come later when my dentist is finished with the work I need done.

In a couple of weeks, I go back to have dental surgery on the other side. While I hate going through the whole thing I do like that it pushes wrinklies out.

Oh, there is another benefit! I get really good pain medication! WEEE!

I also go for a type of surgery on my back on 2/2 (The big guy's birthday) to fix a couple of pinched nerves in my back which cause pretty bad pain in my legs. Oh, the thing the pain doctor did to come to this conclusion was also very painful! It felt lke he was ramming huge needles in my legs. Mr. Mis says it was a tazer type thing. I don't know since I was laying on my stomach and couldn't see what the doctor was doing.

My pain specialist also sent in the paperwork to the state so I can have a handicap tag to hang on my rear view mirror.

So, I am not only falling apart, I'm a pin cushion!

That reminds me of a conversation between me and my mom.

Mom: "I think I've found the cure for wrinkles."
    Me: "What?"
    Mom: "Fat!"
"Is it hot in here to you? It's very warm, isn't it?"--Nero, probably

How do you manage to to get this stuff scheduled on your familys birthday?

So when you say good painkillers, you're talking about the ones that make you go

Anyway good luck on your back surgery.

That's exactly what I was thinking!

I mean, Mis, is this intentional, so you don't have to bake birthday cakes, and/or fix birthday dinners?

          I think I'd rather bake a cake...

The only thing I bake is cookies. I make the best cookies on the whole planet! It's true! Just ask the little guy and all my daughter's friends! I buy everyone's birthday cakes.

I didn't plan things on birthdays, that is just the way it is this year. I offered to move things for other days, but both my husband and my big guy told me to go so I won't have to be in pain an long than I need to be. Aren't they the sweetest??

I do like the fact the swelling after dental surgery pushes out the wrinkles! WOO HOO! I wonder if I can get it to stay that way?

RavenStarr, of course, those are the ones I'm talking about! Silly!
