Taxes suck!

I hate taxes!!! (Sorry TaxGuyKarl!!)

I received my w-2 last week...and it sucked. Balls. Big Ones. Why you ask? Because I was in school and my employer paid for my (private school) tuition and it was rather expensive. So they forgive a certain amount, but then add the rest on to look like I made it as actual income. So @ this point, it looks like I made about $13,000 MORE than I actually did.

RAWWWWRRRRRRGGGGHHH! Talk about fuckin up my refund. Lol. I know this is the law and it has to be done this way, but it sucks.

Apology accepted. No one likes taxes--I sure don't. But helping others to get more back is another story.

If people only knew what companies did to save on their own taxes by passing the "savings" onto their employees I think there would be a revolution.

Like, we just got our own W-2s and the company changed our dependants without notifying us so, hubby and I have 2 dependants listed... each.

Yes, you heard that right, I have 2 dependants listed. Hubby has 2 dependants listed...and how that happened, we don't know. The shitty thing? We weren't the only ones affected either.

Its our fault, though, for not logging onto the adp website and seeing what the pay stub had us listed for (our company has gone green and no longer gives us copies of the pay stubs.).
