does anyone beside me think the illusive man is a prick? if he changes his tune in either direction, I haven't gotten there yet (for those further along then I)....but I'm starting to REALLY hate him.

I do believe that's the point. You're not supposed to like him, just work with him so long as the goal remains mutual. It seems that regardless of whether you take a Paragon or Renegade path, he says or does something to get on your bad side.

back to another day of playing for me, I'm finishing up all the character's sides stories, and FINALLY got the hint about the paragon and renegade buttons that randomly pop up during certain times. I've saved a few lives and beaten the hell out of some bad guys, and even made a krogan go from whiney little baby to he got to visit the female camps!

Now I'll have to play through again to catch all the buttons make sure I can't alter them any.

Oh, just had a thought, for any who wish it Anyone care to exchange gamer tags? Mine is SaneLadySarlon.

If you load your ME1 save, no, if you start a new character, then the game assumes you chose not to kill the opposide gender member, so if you were female, Kaidan would have survived, if you wre male, Ashley

Finished one playthrough, pondering next one. Bit disappointed no one bats for the other team for FemShep ( Except your secretary but she doesn't count as a romance ). Especially since FemShep has a better voice actor then ManShep.

Well, ok technically someone does but she'll kill you if you sleep with her. >.>

Dunno what to do for my next run. I was going to FemShep but the total lack of interesting romance options kills it and I can't find my original FemShep x Liara save. Only my ManShep x Ash save which I used to beat ME2 with.

Oh, and everyone survived my mission. <3

But my *god* it was tense. Bioware's writers are cruel. I've never been that on edge during a grand finale of a game before. Because I've never played a game where the focus of the end wasn't "Beat the big bad guy" but rather "Try and keep your friends alive".

Warning for anyone not at the end yet: Research everything for the Normandy. Ask every squad member if they can help upgrade it. Make sure everyone is loyal and in their alternate uniforms. Do not do the "IFF" and "Heretics" missions until you are ready to rumble. Because it will trigger the beginning of the end of all things and the game will become time sensitive.

That will give you the potential to survive at least. From there its up to your leadership ( god help you ;p ).

You need every single upgrade/Normandy preparation you can get and everyone's loyalty/alt costumes. Then just try not to ask anyone to do something they have nfi how to do, ehe.

I beat it too. My Fem is still with Liara (there’s a single option that pops up in conversation with her ONLY once and if you catch and select it you find out a bunch of stuff you were unaware of).

All I have to say is…UBER awesome. I do want to do another playthrough and do a couple of things slightly differently. I did lose ONE crew member during the playthrough and I’m still not entirely sure WHY. I had all upgrades, he was loyal, in his alternate uniform, etc. There’s no reason I can see he should have died.

Very intense game, I loved it even more than ME1 and that’s saying a lot!

I think it also depends on what you tell them to do/what role they take in the last mission.
