    The end is near..

    Today, we got news that Grampa's right kidney has failed and he hasn't been able to hold his food down for about a week. He's on liquid morphine now.

    He has survived far longer than the doctors have expected. so far, hubby's been walking around with the blinders on and todays news have finally gotten things to sink in.

    I hate this so much.

        My grandpa died today. He was 77 and had Alzheimer's, but I still can't seem to stop the tears. *Hugs* - all you can do is be there for him. He will probably be all stoic, like my dad, but I know you will do what you can to make it better. This sucks, I am sorry to hear of your impending loss. I believe there is life after this one, and take comfort in that - I hope you can, too.
