Getting bored with my hair

Its shoulder-length and mostly one length. Been almost tempted to hack it off, but I have been growing it for a while

Might want to add some funky layers, but I don't want to look like a reject from "Friends," lol (I did 3 years ago when when hair was long, before I hacked it off)

Done dying it for a long time, it's fried.


Ugh, I hate hair-boredom, lol!! Anyone else get that?

i do. but if and when i get it cut or try something different, i get lazy and just keep it pulled back.

i had my bangs grown out for years and cut them last august. havent cut them yet, but i really need to. they keep poking me in the eyes haha

oh, and is it snowing where you are?

It is! nothing bad, I can still see the tips of grass poking through. Looks like 2" at most so far. You?


Oh, and one thing I hate about trying to find styles online.....the models are all tossled and made up...I want to see what the style will look like when I wake up hung over and unshowered!

it finally started about maybe a half hour ago comin down fast but its like tiny flakes. not the big fat ones that i like

I'm rather bored with my hair too. But both (male) roommates say they'll kill me if I cut it.

im having my dad drive me in. he has to drive everyone today, but i guess thats what you get when you drive for a living, you then have to drive everyone else around aaha

Yeah, the roads don't seem bad *yet* but the PM commute will be hell (esp over the Q!)


Hmm....I haven't trimmed my hair since Oct....I am due for a trimming, I might through in long layers.....the boy is taking me out to eat on sat...I gots to look good

And it's been snowing here since at least 8:30 last night (that's when I noticed it). Work was still open but I'm taking a vacation day. My boss went in and he said there's no one there, and he wasn't planning to stay long. He lives a lot closer than I do, though. I read for a while this morning then went back to sleep.

I haven't had a hair cut since last April, so I think I'm due. I'm actually going to try to get it done before my BF comes in for another visit on the 19th.

I'm getting layers tomorrow....eeek!! just dunno how short the layers should be...I tend to go crazy once i get in the hairdresser's chair

I definitely get hair bordem. My hair has been growing out from shoulder length for 7-8 years now. It's gotten to the top of my thighs or a bit lower and while there's a lot I can do with it, I'm not a morning person so I don't tend to have time to do much with it in the mornings. This leads to a lot of wearing my hair in a bun. Somedays I wish I could do something to it but I'm not sure what. If I thought I could pull it off, I'd shave the bottom half off, but it wouldn't look right on my face most likely. Same with dreading it though sometimes I'm really tempted to do very small ones. I can't really cut my hair because I want to see how long I can get it and after this once I do cut it, it's probably not going to get this long for a while. I do like my hair though and I've been trying to do more stuff with it lately.

I did it!! I gots layers!! They aren't dramatic (yet) but I like 'em....I'll keep it like this for a while, and see if I want to go crazier. I was actually nervous she was gonna cut too short for tht trim, but nope. (when I go through my short hair phases, I def go all crazy, but when growing it long I get nevous about cuts, ha)

Now, I have to make sure it keeps it piecy funky look...which either mean product, or no care at all, ha.

I have an appointment for next Friday, just in time for boyfriend's visit. Hooray! I have no idea what I want, but my friends who have gone to this stylist say he's really good about coming up with something flattering. I'm just deciding if I want to go short enough to cut off all of the old highlights from my last haircut...in April.

I know what you mean about getting bored with your hair. Two weeks ago tomorrow I got my hair cut OFF!

It was down to my waist and it is now above my collar. I donated 17 inches to Locks of Love.

This is so much easier to manage and I'm using much less shampoo.
