  • My Baby!

Tax money meant I could get myself a new treat this year, one I've been sorely wanting... (>.> Needing...)

I just got a new Dell. I went to Best Buy. Normally that store is one of which I am not a fan, but the salesman today got my kudos. For some reason I felt really sick (and still do, took today off work as a result) but he won me over even through my fog. My baby has a quad core i7 processor, 8gb RAM, a terrabyte hard drive, and a kick ass video card. Yes, I'm a gamer, yes, I told the guy that. At least when I said that he didn't look at me like "Chu-CHING!" Instead he looked at me like, "She knows her stuff, knows what she wants."

He didn't try to hard sell me on the maintenance packages. I got one anyways since I work at an alarm company and spend every day listening to people go, "My alarm is fubar'd! Send a tech!" and then I see them not have a plan and have to quote horrific rates. (It can be over 150 bucks for the first half hour and then a set rate every additional 15 mintues). I don't want that to be me down the line going, "My computer jumped off a bridge! Help me!"

Anyways, I'm going off on tangents. I love my machine, even if I'm sitting here all queasy just to spend time loving it.

        Hehe,

Heksubah invited me over to fondle her... computer.

Now, if I was any kind of normal person I would find that strange, but, as a self confessed computer geek, who is somewhat jealous of all the gaming goodness contained within, I think it is a good idea.

Make what you will of that.

You know you want to fondle my computer, Chris. Plus it's an excuse for you to come out and see me again. *pounces*

Though I won't pretend... I know you want to fondle my computer more.

Hey, I was looking at that Dell from Best Buy myself. I might even have bought it, but they were out of stock.
