That was the first thing that came to my mind too, the Pale Man from Pan's Labyrinth. But it isn't old. Was the needle-hand on a poster or was it actually part of the movie?
Yeah, that white thing with the freaky hand was in Pan's Labyrinth. I've seen it. It's a good movie, but it's a bit hard to watch. Not exactly the Feel Good Hit Of The Summer.
Some movies are disturbing to the point where I have a hard time recommending them.
There is a horror film from the 1940s starring Robert Alda (father of Alan Alda) and the great Peter Lorre. It's called The Beast with Five Fingers. There's no eyeball that I remember, but the hand did move on its own - can you imagine, a disembodied hand crawling around your large, creepy house?
