Facebook Stalking...?

Im on facebook, as a lot of peoples are these days. Everything on my profile is private to those who are not my friends.

Ive been perusing houses in FLorida for about a year now, and have registered on a few real estate sites to be able to get information and all that. I know alot of them are just ploys to get the email addy and bombard you with emails but i can ignore them easily enough or send them to spam.

Anywho, I get on facebook today and I have a friend request from a FL realtor whos website I used to visit...probably havent been on it in 6 months or so...

I just thought that was stalkerish. My email is private but I guess if you already know it, im easily found... Creepy.

They still can't view your profile if you have your privacy settings set as so.

I know...but this guy knows what i look like now. Lol. Not that im worried, he's in FL. I just thought it was odd to request me..so did my husband.

well with the housing market being what it is right now-some realitors have gotten "creative" on finding leads-personally I'd say while it might be kinda creepy to some, it shows he's taking initiative and learning to use the main method of communication for what will soon be his target customers.

plus once you saw his "friend request" it got you thinking about him as a realitor again didn't it? possible he just does it to those prospective clients that he hasn't heard from in a while...easily enough ignored-but not as easily as an email that's deleted or blocked without being read....
