One gave us a dozen bagels last week. A couple years ago a grateful client had a platter of sandwiches delivered on April 15th.

We had a bona fide benefactor at Kinko's, an elderly American diplomat to the Middle East. He also worked for the agency that oversaw booze.
So we got gifts. Bonafide PRESENTS sometimes. The small stuff included:
Bags of Cromers popcorn (and I mean huge bags. Like beanbag chair size.)
A never empty bowl of candy and gum
Flats of bagged chips and pretzels
Flats of sodas
Lunch at least one day each weekend, and sometimes during the week, with consisting usually of an array of huge sandwitches and subs from a local shop run by a bunch of Middle Eastern men.
Bottles (usually huge size bottles) of booze given to individuals for personal favors. I scored a liter of tequila this way.
Larger gifts included things like PRESENTS from the Middle East. I have a Bedoin pillow. Another girl scored a freaking caftan. Sometimes it was dinner.
What did we do for the guy to get on his Good Boys and Girls list? We sent an occasional fax or did some typesetting for him. Of course, his money was no good in the store, obviouisly, but he gave us way more than we gave him.

The greatest thing a customer has ever given me "RINGWORM" never want to see calamine lotion ever again."Light a fire for someone and he will be warm all day,
set light to someone and he will be warm for the rest of his life" Sir Samuel Vimes
Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.
