    Amazing cookies

    My housemate made these delicious cookies, and they were a bit unusual so I thought I'd pass the idea along to the cookie fans in here.

    She used a regular recipe for chocolate chocolate-chip cookies, and substituted mashed banana for oil (she was looking for creative ways to use the aging bananas she bought). The cookies ended up tasting all chocolately and tropical. I thought they were really really good.

    So anyway, there it is. Chocolate Banana Chocolate Chip cookies.

      Actually, mashed banana is a great substitute for oil in cookies and various cakes.

      If you need an egg and don't have any, use a tablespoon of oil.

        Yeah, I knew it was--applesauce as well--I just hadn't heard of someone using it in chocolate cookies.
