  • Anyone recognize this movie/show?

I remember when I was little this show or movie that I liked, but then it scared me. It was the early to mid 90's.

I can remember there was a group of kids and they had this doll-like thing. It was purple and wore a jacket of some sort. Possibly a leather jacket.
And the only other thing I can recall is some of the kids being up on the roof of a building, and the doll-like thing they had ended up growing to a size taller than the building and became sentient and tried to hurt them or something.

-There's also another bit I remember, but I think I might be mixing it up with "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" or "So Weird" but I'll describe it anyway.
If it was from the same movie/show, the doll could also turn into some kind of liquid and came up through a drain in a locker room or something.

Any ideas? I feel like I'm crazy and I just made it up in my head or it was a vivid dream or something.

I'm just bothered by the fact that you were "little" in the early to mid 90s...

I was 11 years old in 93 and that shouldn't make you feel to old!

Here's to being born in 1990!

Although I do vaguely remember that Ghostwriter episode. We got them about 2-3 years later here in Ozland than in America, so I think I wound up watching it when I was 6 or so.

Sister fireheart was born in 93 as well

As for other 90's shows....the ones I can remember were Secret World of Alex Mack and Ghostwriter. Along with another few I can't remember

In 1993 I was 23, was still somewhat attending classes at Arizona State, and was just starting to date Blondie. While not the best relationship I've had, it was the longest. (Two and a half years, approximately.) I was driving a Dodge Shadow Turbo (my second car, my second Dodge, my second piece of shit car) that, when it worked, was pretty damn fast. Key phrase: when it worked. It was, after all, a Dodge.

At that point in my life, the novelty of ordering a drink in a bar and actually having the staff bring it to me merely for the asking had not yet worn off.

Wait a minute...that novelty still hasn't worn off!

Born in 1985. Was in second grade in 1993, remember the year well.

My favorite car that I used to drive was a 1993 Mustang. It was the first car that I owned that always started right up.
