where to begin? how about the cell phone died Monday. then two days later the van dies of which i knew would eventually happen but that's another story. so now all of my daughter's and my appointments now need rides and that appointment next month for her dr probably has to be canceled as well. Lovely.
That's not the real issue. The real issue is that I'm now afraid that the only line of communication outside of this state is the internet and that I will lose that too.
Thats the thing, not allowed to use FIL's cell phone its business only. (his work pays for it) and the house phone cannot call long distance. (which makes me wonder why not cut the house phone line and go all cellular but meh not my decision to make) So i cannot call mom, or any friends back home...they have to call me. I don't drive anymore as I'm slowly losing vision in my left eye and that causes alot of problems while driving. Can hardly see at night or in the dark - even after giving time to adjust to the lack of light - and there are times my left eye just goes out, IE looks like lazy eye and the iris pans to the right and its really bad when it happens as i look weird and my parallel vision goes nuts.
so yeah i feel trapped....even when taking a stroll with DD in her stroller as there is road construction on the only road out to the main street! AAAAAAAAA!

oh yeah, i've already stated that the van cannot be salvaged i already know this. its been in the shop four times in 6 months. it is well and truly ded.
