  • Is Mother Nature Over Her PMS?

Could it be that her awful mood swings of '09 are a distant bad memory?

    I hate to brag (actually, today I don't :P)....

It's a GOOD time to live in Wisconsin.

We broke a record today. Not for a LOW, mind you, like we'd been breaking over and over last spring and summer for low temperatures, but a record HIGH. Yes, today's record high is 72...we will peak at 80 degrees today!

If that isn't enough to get your panties bursting to come off, we made it throughout the entire month of March without ANY snow! (As far as I know, not even a flake fell, at least in my neck of the woods). That has not happened in over 140 years. They did not even have record of the last time this happend in my area, so they went by the weather service in Channhassen Minnesota, since it's close enough to our weather patterns to figure out that record.

Over a hundred years since it hasn't snowed in March. Simply freaking amazing.

Here's to breaking more record highs and making up for what we didn't get last year!

    Short answer, no.

Must have passed it here. It's been snowing for the last 2 days. And we're not done yet. The kids have been on spring break all week, and at the moment the sun has come out for a bit, so I kicked them all outside.

Don't worry, not heavy snow, and it's a bit on the warm side, so it has only been light accumulation.

          68 here and sunny. gorgeous

Which is a nice change from the beginning of the week...my usual route to work was closed for 2 days because of flooding. Not a big deal going home because the detour is just before the section that was closed. Had to go a completely different way to get in, though.

Blas, you said it! I almost turned on the air conditioner today. I'm in shorts, tank top right now. Usually at night I'm in sweats and a bathrobe.

Blas and Food Lady, don't take this the wrong way, but....

                  Screw you.

It didn't get out of the mid 50s or so by me. There's a reason why all our weather forecasts in spring and summer include the words "Cooler near the lake."

I turned on the air a few days ago. I need it to be an icebox in my room to sleep well.

We had a shot of spring a couple of weeks ago...I planted a buncha stuff in a container garden...now it's just cold and wet

                        I want warm weather again.

My sister and I have determined that the state of Colorado is moody. I've seen warm, rainy, and snowy weather here in one day.

It was rather nice and warm out this week. It got up to the 70s. Yesterday and today it's been windy as hell and the temp has been dropping. I heard we're supposed to get snow.

We have gone back to November~!!!! Wet and windy, at least we are getting more snow in the hills so the drought worries may not be so bad.

Well blas, the answer is no. No, mother nature is still PMS'ing.

The forecast tomorrow calls for snow, maybe a little accumulation.

So now the weather is going to be cold, I don't know when it will warm up again, nobody will be in the mood to buy any patio furniture, and we'll sit on it all and count it during inventory, which is now a month away.
