Mine came from a site where you can make yourself in Lego. It is me at work at the cinema, although I no longer wear the uniform or sweep up pocorn, so I should probably change it.

It's from around 8-ish years ago now, when I worked at the photo place. Our roving supervisor came in one day, and took a few pics each of my cow-orker and myself.
I beleive this pic was one of me with an envelope of customer pics, as if I was getting ready to present them to the customer. I scanned it into our digital photo station, cropped it, and used the software program (PhotoSuite 4) to alter it, by stretching out the chin a bit, to give myself a sort of Leno look, poofed up the forehead a bit, and did a couple more things I don't recall.
Had a lot of fun handing them to friends and others that know me, and watching their reaction to see if they noticed anything odd. Tried to make the changes subtle, so people would maybe do a double take and go "Huh"?
Six and a half plus years ago now, they closed off the last of the retail stores, which ours was one of, and with a very generous severance package, for lowly ol' retail associates, plus my accrued vacation/personal time, gave me enough to get my first and only computer. I was offered someone elses PhotoSuite software disc to borrow, but decided to be honest, and risk not violating any laws by using software licensed to another person.
Plus, PhotoSuite 5 was out by then. So, new and improved, right? Hell No!! By then PhotoSuite's owner had been bought out by another company. And whether it had anything to do with it or not, the bastards took away the tools for letting the user do their own enhancements, leaving only the programs own very general distortions. So much for being law abiding.
Upgraded to PhotoSuite 7 maybe a couple years later, half hoping they brought back the user choice enhancement tools, but, of course Nooooooo!
Right, so in honor of the start of the new season of Doctor Who this weekend, I've changed my avatar back to the "disappearing" TARDIS avatar I used awhile ago.

I believe I posted that site in Check It Out once, tho I understand that's not necessarily where you got the idea.
