This morning when I was feeding the chickens I noticed TWO little eggs! The first serious lay since the winter began! This means both chickens laid an egg.
Not only that, the quail that we got back in December, one of them laid an egg. Tiny little thing (of course, quail are small). It looks like 2-3 of these would be about the same as a bantam egg (which 2-3 of those are the equivalent of a large egg).
I don't know if it is because I switched them to a much healthier diet earlier in the week or just timing but I can't complain!
