Really? Because he does have hgih blood pressure and sometimes has migraines (I still don't believe that men rarely get migraines!).

Yep. Its all related, so hopefully if he gets treated with the CPAP the others will/should improve. Also helps if he has excessive daytime sleepiness.

I hope he feels better soon.

Waaaaaait a second....how did you NOT know that Dad has Sleep Apnea?? o.O That's kinda something I noticed when living in the campgrounds in the '90s. Actually, I think they talked to us about it, I seem to remember something like that being mentioned, on account'a sometimes you stopped breathing as well (...why are you more like Dad than his own son?).

My husband has sleep apnea. We're working on getting him to the doctor and to get a sleep observation. Only thing is that in Peru, no one ever knows about apnea. A doctor I spoke to said that "Apnea doesn't affect weight AT ALL" (bull...my husbands grossly overweight) and that "a person with sleep anpea just needs to rub Vicks on their chest every night." WTF?? I hate peruvian doctors with a deep passion. Ohh, I have a rant coming. For another thread though.

I had to have my uncle send me his old CPAP through the mail for my husband to use. It's probably not on the right setting, is really old and he hates the mask but there are NO places to buy mask/other supplies for the CPAP!!! Other than online, but then we don't know what will be comfortable for him.

Anyway sorry about that. I hope your experience will be better than ours! I'm sure it will be. Those machines are super-quiet and will help with feeling better in the morning. CPAP is really a godsend.
